What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a relaxed state of detached awareness where your conscious mind is partially switched off and your subconscious is more 'awake'. This usually happens when brainwaves are in the alpha or theta levels. Hypnotherapy is the use of the hypnotic state for therapy purposes. Under hypnosis, suggestions can be made to what is known as the subconscious mind, in doing so creating powerful new patterns to change almost any type of issue. Hypnosis has been used since Ancient Egyptian times and there are many thousands of academic and medical papers supporting it's effectiveness and promoting it's use.

How do the Hypnotherapy Sessions Work?

When you listen to these recordings you will be gently guided into a nice state of relaxation wherein your conscious mind will begin to switch off. Once you can redirect the focus of your conscious mind, your subconscious becomes more receptive. This is how the positive suggestions, metaphors and techniques expressed on each CD/MP3 begin to have a very positive effect on overriding any negative patterns or behaviours you have, because they take effect at the subconscious level. With persistent use, you can begin to develop more positive patterns and behaviours that will allow you to address almost any type of issue permanently.

The general flow of each session is:

1. Induction - you will be guided into the state of hypnosis with a series of relaxation techniques, visualisation scenarios, and trance phraseology

2. Deepening - guides you down even further, usually with a count down, completely clearing the mind

3. Suggestions - direct suggestions, metaphors and other information directly for the benefit of the applicable issue being addressed

4. Confirmation - here you will allowed to confirm everything said and lock it in at a subconscious level

5. Wake Up - an instruction that if you wish to wake up you will, or if you want to remain asleep you can

Instructions for using the Hypnotherapy Programs

Simply listen to a session at least once per day, for 6 to 8 weeks, having 1 day break per week. It is fine to use the recordings when you go to sleep, or to fall asleep while listening. You can listen through headphones, or stereo speakers. It is fine to use up to 3 hypnosis sessions in the same 6-8 week period - simply alternate between the different titles equally. It is also fine to use multiple titles in one day, once again just alternate between all the sessions equally.
